Iceland Pre Shoot

Blog
Cold… very cold! Limited daylight hours… but we managed to capture the stunning Icelandic landscapes earlier this year in January. It was a challenge, probably one of the hardest shooting conditions I have ever faced but it was totally worth it and loved every bit of it.
We flew into Reykjavik on Friday evening and collected our van to transport us around for the next 2 days. Yes a van! There were 5 of us in total for the shoot to capture the cinematography aspect as well which was done by HOM Productions. One first day of the shoot we set off at 5am from our hotel. Van loaded with our equipment and off we went, yup we thought were crazy ourselves. After a few hours of driving we hit the first waterfall at 8am. We could hear it but couldn’t see it as it was still dark! As the day went on the sun god was on our side and provided us with amazing light we some stunning landscapes. I still can’t believe how brave Nirali was wearing that dress and sitting on icebergs!
Nirali & Neilen were lucky enough to get their destination pre wed shoot done just before the lockdown. Their wedding has now been postponed to the summer of 2021 and can’t wait to continue to document their journey into married life.
